TITE Cover 2 man is a 2 deep, man to man defense.  This is a very secure defense vs. the run and the pass.  This defense just about puts 9 defenders in the box depending on the range ability of your safeties.  TITE Cover 2 man is a self containing defense, with motion to one back we CHECK to “TITE Cover 1” the Safety has the back to the side of the motion and the blitzers have no peel responsibility.  The Mike stays on the remaining back.

MIKE:  Alignment 40 / run side A gap vs run to & run away/ m/m on the FB vs. pass in 2 back sets, he has the remaining back in 1 back sets

WILL:  Alignment ghost 8 / Contain vs. run to & run away/ peel blitz on the back vs. the pass
